Casa Bella Vista

Welcome to the beautiful Casa Bella Vista on the secluded Island of Guanaja.  Guanaja is the most pristine and mountainous of the three Islands that make up the island chain known as the Bay Islands of the Western Caribbean.  It is considered the last undiscovered destination in the Caribbean and is conveniently located 30 miles North off the main coast of Honduras.  If you are craving privacy and seclusion then look no further!

Christopher Columbus made landfall here in July of 1502 during his 4th and final voyage.  The Island is full of history and is mainly known for its spectacular Scuba Diving and Fishing both on the secluded Flats and Offshore.

For the Scuba Diver, the coral reefs and 45 plus dive sites of Guanaja are some of the best the world has to offer.  They are part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef system which starts in Belize and is the 2nd largest reef behind the Australian Great Barrier Reef.

For the Fisherman, experience some of the best Flats fishing in the world.  Guanaja is filled with schools of Bonefish, Permit, Tarpon and Snook for the Flyfisherman.  And catch Wahoo, Grouper, Yellowtail and other species in the deeper waters.

An amazing climate, long isolated sand beaches, cool Tradewind breezes and crystal clear blue waters without the crowds, make it the perfect place to adventure and explore.
